Travindy is a nonprofit organisation on a mission to make sustainable tourism a common practice among tour operators, accommodation providers and tourism destinations around the world, regardless of their size and location.

We want to achieve it by providing tourism professionals with necessary knowledge, tools and solutions to implement sustainable practices in the easiest and most time-efficient way.

Anula Galewska
Founder & Trainer
Anula is a tour-entrepreneur and a sustainable tourism consultant. For over 10 years, she has been providing strategic advise and training to tourism destinations, hotels and tour operators from over 80 countries, helping them improve their sustainability operations and marketing. Previously to launching Sustainable Tourism Made Easy, she has co-founded Travindy, a sustainable tourism news site and worked with Travel Massive and Urban Adventures (Intrepid Group).

Anula holds a Master's Degree in Responsible Tourism Management from the Leeds Beckett University, UK, and in Sociology from the University of Lodz, Poland.

She is frequent speaker at international tourism events and conferences, including ITB Berlin, WTM London, Arival Event, Web in Travel, among others.

Anula is amazed by the world's beauty and wants everyone else to experience it too. That's why she promotes tourism as a tool for bringing more joy and wealth to people and places.

Maria Sirotkina
Growth and Engagement Strategist
Maria Sirotkina, MBA - a graduate of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations and IE Business School (Madrid). Founder of the first Russian specialised tour operator for education abroad, Jey Study and the international network of Jey Camps. Maria lives in Lisbon and works in the field of international vocational education.
Anastasiia Shkarupa
Business Development Manager in Russia
Anastasia graduated from the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and ISEG University (Portugal). She worked for the largest hotel chain Marriott and she has also participated in internships and volunteer programs all around Europe. Anastasiia is actively interested in training programs in the field of sustainable development.
Tímea Kovács
Content Manager (Intern)
Timea is currently completing her master's degree in Sustainable Tourism Development at Aalborg University in Copenhagen, while she also works within expedition cruise operations at Albatros Expeditions. Before setting up for her journey in Denmark, she previously worked as Travel Consultant in Romania and as Tour Leader in China and Japan.
Julia Timonina
Project Assistant (Intern)
Dedicated travel specialist with 10+ years of experience in international tourism (both leisure and business). Julia visited 40+ countries and once worked as Tour Leader in the Boracay Island, Philippines. She aims to organize not just trips, but thoughtful once-in-a-life-time experiences, that's why she joined STME Team.
Ranjana T Magar
Content Manager (Intern)
Ranjana is currently doing her master's degree in Tourism at Aalborg University in Copenhagen. She has working experience as a night supervisor in Schaeffergaarden Hotel (Denmark) and as a sales associate in Nepal Telecom.

Content Assistant (Russian-speaker) ho help us build our presence in the Russian-speaking region.
We increase our impact by supporting non-profit organisations and educational institutions.
We dedicate our time and skills to support nonprofit sustainable tourism initiatives. We are one of the creators of Travindy News, a volunteer-run sustainable tourism news site. Anula Galewska is also a member of the Sustainable Tourism Committee at the Russian Tourism Union, actively advocating for sustainable tourism development in Russia.
Collaboration with universities
We work closely with academia by giving talks at universities, accepting interns and supporting student-run projects. During last year, we supported Aalborg University Copenhagen, University College London and University College London.
10% of our profits is donated to non-profit organisations and social enterprises. In 2020 we donated money to Kiva, Invisible Cities and Mali Bracia Ubogich.
